Junior Core Camp "Healthy Living"

Junior girls will learn all about wellness and healthy living as they earn their Staying Fit badge!    During this multi-age level core camp weekend, girls will also have an opportunity to horseback ride!  Girls will make new friends and participate in camp traditions such as ceremonies, songs, games, and outdoor fun (weather permitting).  Campers will enjoy two nights of modern lodging, a Friday night snack, 3 meals on Saturday, and Sunday breakfast served in our dining hall.  Registrations will be accepted from troops, adult/girl pairs, and individual girls.

Daisy Core Camp "GS Camp Traditions"

Daisy Core Camp is a special one-night camping event for Daisy girls and adults to experience Girl Scout camp traditions at Camp Innisfree!  Girls will make new friends and create lasting memories while participating in camp ceremonies, songs, games, and outdoor fun (weather permitting). Girls will also have the chance to visit the Innisfree Equestrian center where they will meet the farm animals and experience a lead-line ride on one of our friendly camp horses!  Girls will receive a Core Camp patch for the weekend and a fun patch to put on the back of their smock or vest.

New Members and Community Troop Welcome to Girl Scouting Gathering in White Lake

This is a gathering for girls new to Girl Scouting and those in the Community Troop, their friends, and parents/guardians.

Bring a friend, find a friend! At this event, girls and their families and their friends will learn all about the opportunities available, and how to make the most of their Girl Scout experience.

Friends Don't Bully

​Join Kappa Delta Sorority on the campus of Wayne State University in the fight against bullying. Enjoy a short presentation on different types of bullying, create friendship bracelets and a balloon to take home to empower a friend. Girls have the opportunity to have their bullying stories heard and addressed as well as sign the anti-bullying pledge. Girls will be leaving the event with a snack to go home with. Adult supervision is required at this event. All adult/girl ratios must be maintained as outlined in Safety Wise.

Junior Core Camp - "Animal Homes"

This event is Camp Hawthorn Hollow’s last Junior Core Camp before summer camp season begins. This Core Camp is all about being outside and learning about our animal friends on camp. Girls coming to this Core Camp will learn all about how animals live and survive and how to look for signs that an animal is nearby. We will also be examining our camp gardens up-close and helping plant vegetables and flowers for the season. Girls will earn their Animal Habitats and Gardener badges.

Cadette Core Camp - "Trees of CHH"

This is a special weekend set aside just for Cadette Girl Scouts. At this Core Camp girls will be learning about the different types of trees that we have here at camp. Girls will also be studying the parts of a tree and how trees help the environment. Then the girls will be making a tree craft to take home. Girls will earn their Trees and Woodworker badges. In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash.

Brownie Core Camp - "Adventure Trails"

Come and enjoy the beautiful landscape of camp in the spring! Brownie Core Camp is back with even more activities for Girl Scouts to discover. “Adventure Trails” introduces Brownies to hiking safety and a real-life treasure hunt. Girls will earn their Hiker and Letterboxer badges. In addition, all camp participants will receive a Core Camp Patch to add to the back of their vest or sash. For $75 per person this Core Camp includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday.
