Great Autumn Fest (GAF) Committee Meeting

Our first meeting is Janurary 23, 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the White Lake Service Center.  This is an organizational meeting for the Great Autumn Fest 2014.  We welcome anyone to our meetings, especially new faces.  There will be a gift for anyone that brings a new person to our first meeting.  For our first meeting, we will decide on the theme for our event, select committee chairs, workshops and possible facilitators, and review by-laws.  GAF this year is at Innisfree Campground in Pickney (near Howell) on September 19, 20 and 21, 2014

Grab your guy (dad, uncle, grandfather, etc) and join us for a fun filled night of dancing, refreshments, and memories to last a lifetime. Girls will receive a patch and a 4 x 6 photo with their special guy. All school age girls are welcome to attend.

Scout Birthplace in Savannah, Georgia in July, 2014.

American Red Cross certified Babysitting Course will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 9 am - 3:30 pm
Clinton Twp. Service Center
Girl Scout members between the age of 11 and 15 years (Junior, Cadette or Seniors) will complete the American Red Cross certified Babysitting Course and receive their certification.
Along with completion of the Babysitting course
JUNIORS – will complete their First Aid legacy badge
CADETTES – will complete their Babysitting skill builder badge
SENIORS – will receive a FUN PATCH

Girl Scout Pinewood Derby Car Inspection in Novi

  • Bring completed car securely wrapped in a small sturdy box. A shoebox lined with a kitchen towel or bubble wrap is ideal.
  • Maximum weight is 5 oz. (using inspectors' scale), and see all rules on Scoutlander. All decisions of the inspectors are final.
  • Some tools will be available for modifications to weight (drill and glue gun).

    Girl Scouts Costume Dance Bash in Livonia

    What to wear: Party attire, dress in character, cartoon, superhero, Disney, Television or Movie Star. All Costumes must be girl scout appropriate. Troop are invited to create a centerpiece that best represents the dance theme. Awards will be given in a number of different categories. Additional information in registration flyer.
