My Promise, My Faith Girl Scout Sunday & Faith Event in Livonia

Following service they will have lunch and participate in a variety of break-out sessions where they will explore their faith, create severable craft projects and most importantly begin to build friendships in their troop, rooted in faith and mutual understanding of God’s love for each one of us! We will explore the Girl Scout Law and relevant Bible stories that demonstrate the Laws, as well as some key women in the Bible. Girls should wear their Girl Scout Vest or Sash.

World Thinking Day is a chance for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides to think about their peers in other parts of the world.   We will celebrate Thinking Day by gathering together and having troops represent different countries that have Girl Scouts or Girl Guides.  The girls will visit other  “countries”, sample their food or drink, and enjoy some multicultural entertainment.

An introduction to the night sky for Daisy & Brownie Girl Scouts
The cost is $5 per girl and includes professional presentation from the
Warren Astronomical Society, the opportunity to view the stars through a real telescope, a craft activity, a snack & a patch. There is no fee for adults unless they wish to order a patch. Patches are available for adults for a $1 fee, see below.
All scout troops/groups must be accompanied by appropriate number of adults as listed in Safety Guidelines (Community troop girls attending need a parent present)

We have scheduled a Town Hall for 5/8/14, 6:30-8:00 p.m. at the Clinton Township Service Center. We will be reviewing this past year and planning our programming for next year. This is a great opportunity for community troop (individuals) and district (school/faith-baised) troop families to connect with your local Girl Scout community and to share your insight.
