Girls Bike Out in Auburn Hills

Girls will ride their bikes on the Clinton River trail from downtown Auburn Hills to downtown Rochester Hills and back. We will have lunch in Rochester and ice cream once back in Auburn Hills. The Clinton River trail is a gentle peaceful trail that hugs the Clinton River in a calm natural setting. Check the attached flyer for more information and to register.

Join Community 10 in celebrating the accomplishments of our amazing Girl Scouts as they participate in a traditional Girl Scout Bridging Ceremony! All age levels are welcome to bring their families and a picnic to enjoy while we celebrate our Girl Scouts and volunteers. Each Bridging Scout will receive a personalized Bridging Certificate. This is a Community event; Community Troop girls may use their Program Credits to participate!

Juniors will participate in a variety of fun science activities to earn most of the Entertainment Technology badge. This is a money earning event to help a girl go on a GSUSA Destination trip this summer. Older girls will lead activities.

Cashew cash, cookie dough and program credits may not be used as payment for troop/idividual money earning events.

Be Your Own Hero-Personal Safety Workshop in Shelby Twp.

Girls (ages 11-14) will learn how to avoid being the victim of an attack, as well as protection and escape strategies for if they find themselves in danger. Police officers and personal safety professionals will share potentionally life saving tips and techniques. We will also talk about internet safety, and teach them how to be safe in cyber space. Participants will create ID cards with photos and fingerprinting, and more. This is a Silver Award Project, see attached flyer for more information.

 

C07 Family Picnic/Awards Ceremony in Shelby Twp.
