GSSEM was recently the proud recipient of a $30,000 grant from the Detroit Auto Dealers Association Charitable Foundation Fund at the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan. The grant will go towards expanding GSSEM’s Girl Engagement Initiative program- which primarily supports girls in grades K-8 in helping to provide the necessary resources to give them a full Girl Scout leadership experience.
“This grant will help to give so many girls the opportunity to be a part of Girl Scout programs that will teach and prepare them to be leaders and innovators,” said Marc Berke, Chief Fund Development Officer at GSSEM. “We thank the Detroit Auto Dealers Association for their generosity. This will positively impact the lives of many young girls in southeastern Michigan.”
