Moxie Talks; Be a Change Maker is the first Moxie Talks open to girls in 6th - 12 th grades! Inspired by the revolutionary TED Talks, Moxie talks will bring together girls and inspirational women who will share invaluable information and encouragement in 18 minutes or less.

This exclusive workshop for C/S/A featuring Moxie Talks includes mini sessions to help you understand how to be a change maker, by earning the Girl Scout Silver and /or Gold Awards! Beyond our speakers and mentoring it will include hands on mini sessions: Finding your Moxie, Defining YOUR leadership style, Measurability/Sustainability - What is this anyway??, and Discover which Write is Right.

Hear from our Gold Alumnae Panel on the impact earning the Gold Award has had on their lives. Enjoy a dinner with mentors who can answer all your questions about the High Awards and how to really achieve impact and create lasting change in your community! Be prepared to leave feeling inspired to Go Gold!

This is a free event due to the generous donations of our adult mentors and sponsors. Sponsors include the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan Women's Foundation and Women Officials Network.
