Horseback Riding Workshop
Girl Scout Juniors and older and invited to Ringside Equestrian Center LLC! Riding a horse is one of the most exciting things you can do. But ask any good horseback rider her secret to success and she’ll say that understanding a horse is as important as learning to ride one. Get clued in to horses, and get ready to ride!
Girls will learn about taking care of horses! Covered topics include horses safety, grooming, tacking, how to mount and dismount, riding basics, riding a horse and how to care for your horse after the ride. This is a great workshop for beginning riders and horse lovers. Come join us at Ringside Equestrian Center LLC! Juniors will earn and receive their Jurnior Horseback Riding badge. Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors will receive a Ringside Equestrian Center LLC patch.
Riding helmets are provided, weight maximum is 250 pounds. Please bring your own sack lunch (a snack will be provided). Troops must provide appropriate adult:girl ratio and individual girls must register with an adult chaperone. These adults will be watchers.
The cost is $106.08/girl. The registration deadline is September 19th and there are no refunds after that date. A minimum of five is needed for this event to run. The capacity is 10.
