at Comerica Park

on Wednesday, August 15, 2018!

 Bring your family and CHEER on the Detroit Tigers as they take on the Chicago White Sox. Game time is 1:10 pm. Each Girl Scout package includes a 2018 Detroit Tiger Girl Scout Day patch!

To purchase tickets to the game, please visit tigers.com/girlscouts. For groups of 15 people or more, email Heather Forrester at heather.forrester@tigers.com.

"PRE-GAME" FESTIVITIES

Girl Scout troops (registered girl members and troop leaders) who have a ticket to the game, will have the opportunity to participate in the pre-game ceremony on the field! (Weather permitting!) 

Important information:

  • All participants in the parade must purchase a ticket to the game.
  • Any registered girl member of Girl Scouts is welcome to be part of the pre-game parade whether or not they belong to a troop or their troop chooses to participate.
  • Adult-to-girl ratios must be maintained for troops that are participating!
  • Individual Girl Scout (girl) members wanting to participate may do so with one parent/guardian.
  • NO TAGALONGS may participate in the Girl Scout parade on the field. This means, no siblings, friends (who aren’t registered Girl Scout members), extra adults, etc. Family members & friends are encouraged to cheer on the girls from their seats in the ballpark!
  • Girls will be expected to wear their Girl Scout tunic, sash, or vest. Adults will be expected to wear a Girl Scout t-shirt and/or membership pins.
  • Girls are encouraged to have a Troop/Girl Scout Sign to carry on the field.
    • Banners and signs must:
      • Utilize only cloth, paper or other light, flexible materials, rather than be comprised of or supported by wood, metal, or other hard materials that could be dangerous in a crowded public setting
      • Not be affixed to or draped over any part of the ballpark structure.
