The theme of this talk will be:
"Social entrepreneurship and making a difference."

Join us for our Moxie Talks event for girls in 9–12 grade!

Inspired by the revolutionary TED Talks, Moxie Talks brings together girls and inspirational women who share invaluable information and inspiration in 18 minutes or less. Two speakers share thought-provoking, prepared talks that are focused around leadership principles that motivate girls to change the world. They foster learning, inspire change, and provoke wonder and stimulating conversations. It's a networking and mentoring opportunity for all attendees.

This is a free event due to the generous donations of our adult mentors and sponsors. Sponsors include the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan Women’s Foundation and Women Officials Network.

Advance registration is required for all girls attending Moxie Talks. The first 25 girls who attend 3 Moxie Talks will be eligible for $75 towards their approved Gold Award projects.

Registration deadline: May 15, 2017 (or when capacity maxed). Girls in the 9th - 12th grade may attend and are encouraged to bring a friend! (But your friend must pre-register, too!)

This event is for girls only. Adult supervision will be provided by GSSEM Staff and Volunteer Mentors. All girls in attendance must have a parent/guardian sign a photo release form and/or a permission form in order to participate.
