Camping is an important part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and has been a Girl Scout tradition since the beginning of scouting. Girls develop positive relationships with peers and adult role models that change their lives for the better. The outdoor learning classroom provides girls opportunities to build respect for the environment, learn resourcefulness, and develop trust in others and themselves. Camp programs offer a balance of Girl Scout Journeys, badges, and outdoor camp activities at comfortable overnight facilities.
“Absolutely perfect camping experience! Beautiful grounds, facilities were very nice, and we loved the serenity.”
– 2012 Troop Leader
