Girl Scouts of all ages are invited to attend a camp-in at the Hi-Way Drive-In after community service clean up of drive-in grounds and buildings. There will be dinner provided and a movie shown after dark. There is an option of not staying over night, but you must leave AT 11:00 p.m. See the attached document for more information and to register.
We will be geocaching while cleaning litter from the Polly Ann Trail (between Drahner Rd. and Burdick in Oxford). Participants will have fun using GPS (apps for Smart phones) to locate hidden caches along the trail, while doing community service through leaving the trail better than they found it! Juniors can earn four of the five steps for the Geocacher Badge!
Come join us at this FREE event ($2 if you want a patch) and learn all about tornados and how to prepare a safety plan. Join our troop of Juniors working towards their Bronze Award to learn what to do in the event of a tornado, learn about local tornado history, and watch our skit to summarize what you've learned! Brownies can use this event as part of their bridging requirements by understanding what type of programs Juniors can prepare for others! Free educational event; Tornado Awareness fun patch available for $2 each if registered by deadline.
Join us as we walk in the Brandon Memorial Day Parade. The event starts at 9:30 am; line up begins at 9:00 am in front of Old Town Hall and ends at the Ortonville Cementery. All Girl Scouts that register and walk in the parade will receive a Parade fun patch. Adults must bring Girl Scouts. (Please check the calendar for a 5/21 6:30-8pm Parade Prep Giveaway event--making poppy flowers and writing notes to give to veterans at the parade). You can register for one or both events.

Afternoon Program activities: Daisies ride a horse, Brownies and Juniors can participate in archery and ride horses, Cadettes and Seniors (12 yrs. Outdoor Adventure Camp Experience for girls currently in grades 1 - 5
will be held at the Wilderness Campground, 1350 Meanwell Rd., Dundee 48131.
The adventure begins on Sat. June 7 at 10 am.
Girls in grades 1st and 2nd will attend a 1-Day Adventure from 10 am - 4 pm at a cost of $15 per girl. Minimum 20/Maximum 50
Girls in grades 3 - 5 will continue their adventure with an overnight camp experience end on Sunday, June 8 at 10 am. Cost of $25 per girl. Minimum 20/maximum 50.
