Waterford Memorial Day Parade

This is a parade in which Girl Scouts are invited to walk in a parade. Troop must provide enough adults to meet the adult:girl ratio. Individuals must bring an adult to walk with them. Troops are invited to bring their troop banners and wear their uniforms and/or holiday-themed outfits. Journey Focus: Hands on Investigation - Clinton Township

This 2-hour, in-person course provides volunteers with an in-depth, total dissection of the Journeys.  Learn how to present, engage and have fun with girls and the Journeys.  Create tools to ensure girl-led activities.  

Volunteer Orientation - Grand Blanc

This 3-hour, in-person course is a comprehensive orientation to the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and covers information that is vital for Troop and Program Volunteers.  Topics include: GSSEM resources about Program, Money &  Safety, the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting and Leadership Journeys.  Troop and Program Volunteers are required to take this course online, in-person or in both formats.

Girls Empowered Workshop in South Lyon

The transition to middle school is an exciting (and sometimes) scary change, especially for girls who are already beginning the journey into puberty. We talk through their fears, help them see the positive growth opportunities, and give them tips and techniques to ensure their middle school years get off to a successful start.
They are encouraged to bring a 5th grade Friend.
The cost is $15.00 a girl.

Girls Go Green is a 4 day event providing an age level progression of outdoor program experiences in a nurturing environment. Join us as we Go Green and learn to reduce, repurpose, and recycle tohelp the environment around us. All while making new friends, preparing outdoor meals, getting creative with crafts, playing some games, and singing a few songs! Fourth grade and up can aim for the bulls eye in archery. SERVICE - Women's History Day Tea at River Raisin National Battlefield Museum

Girl Scouts in grades 6 - 12 invited to participate as SERVERs for the Annual Women's History Day Tea on Sat. May 24 from 1 - 3 pm. Girls volunteering are requested to be in FULL GIRL SCOUT UNIFORM (khaki pants, white blouse and Girl Scout vest or sash). Adult volunteers NEEDED; also wear appropriate Girl Scout attire. 2 Sessions to available (may choose 1 or both) EARLY 12:15 - 2:15 and LATE 1:45 - 3:45.
