Come and unwind. Take a class, share a meal, make a friend. Learn and do many things you can use in your Girl Scout life and beyond.

Thinking Day in Detroit

Girl Scouts come together to celebrate different countries for World Thinking Day 2014. Each troop will select a country (from our list) and prepare a presentation. You will need to have a Display board, which should include: culture, music, information about that country, and a food dish to share (use your imagination). The price will include your patches, passport, and a table to set up. Please bring SWAPS with you for about 200 Girl Scouts. See attached flyer for additional information.

Girl Advisory Board (GAB) Meeting

Girl Scout Day at The Henry Ford

Girl Scouts and thier families are invited to join Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan at The Henry Ford. It is also the same date as “The Big Read – Dearborn”. Many family activities are being planned from 11:00 - 2:00 pm which include music and silent films, all those in attendance get a copy of Jack London’s Call of the Wild.

International Night Oxford

World Thinking Day will be a fun event presented by the Cadette Girl Scouts of Troop 13168. The event is in honor of Juliette Lowe and Girls Scouts all around the world.  The activities will be planned around the requirements needed to complete the World Thinking Day Award.  Also, each troop attending is expected to select a country and provide information regarding that country to attendees.  The troop will also provide a small sample of a food or drink that is custom for their country.

Luck of the Irish in Riverview

Enjoy a 60-minute dance class from the famous Award winning Irish Dance Academy of Michigan. Participate in Different stations to learn about the culture of Ireland. Nettiquette Badge Workshop in Port Huron

Cadettes will spend time with the 'Ettiquette Guru'Stacy Amey to earn their Netiquette Badge.

We will cover topics like; verbal & non verbal communication, social media, online etiquette, cell phone etiquette. There will also be instruction on making a positive first impression, making introductions, and how to address a stranger.

Girls will receive their patch at the event.

World Thinking Day - Davisburg-SOLD OUT!

Join us for World Thinking Day 2014 " Education opens doors for girls and boys"
Held at: Springfield Oaks Activity Center in Davisburg.

In line with the World Thinking Day 2014 theme “Education opens doors for girls and boys”, we will be collecting new and gently used books to donate to local organizations.  Prizes for the troop collecting the most books, and the troop collecting the most per girl.

Camp Playfair Open House
