Food and water, clean clothes, a place to live: these are things everyone needs.  A closet full of shoes, a new bike, and tickets to a movie: these are thing people want.

At this workshop Junior Girl Scouts will explore how to tell the difference between needs and wants through creating a collage, going on a shopping scavenger hunt, and sharing ideas and experiences with your Girl Scout friends.

Troops must meet safety ratios. Individual girls must attend with a parent.

Junior girls will earn two badges during this weekend:  Camper and Animal Habitats.  They will also receive a Core Camp Patch for the back of their vest or sash.  Girls will be hiking the many trails at Hawthorn Hollow and learning about different animals and animal habitats along the way.  "Going Camping!" is $75 per person which includes two nights in a modern lodge, a Friday night snack, 3 Saturday meals and breakfast on Sunday.  Registrations will be accepted from troops, adult/girl pairs, and individual girls.  Camp counselors will be provided for individu

SOLD OUT- Chocolate Making! In Birmingham

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT

Come and learn the art of making chocolate. Each girl and adult will come home with about 12 oz of chocolate, a fun patch for the girl, while learning some fun facts about chocolate. You will learn to dip, roll, and fill chocolate. All brownies and older are welcome and may include their parents. There are two sessions for this event. The first session is 10am - 12pm, the second session is 1pm-3pm. See reigstration flyer for further information.
