GSSEM Facilitators
If you prefer to engage with adults in meaningful dialogue, show people how to do things, have presentation or teaching skills, and want to serve GS in a new way - Perhaps your would be interested in becoming a Council Facilitator! Check out the Facilitator Application and the Position Description Council Facilitator.   Our volunteer facilitators attend a course called Facilitating Adult Learning, apprentice with other facilitators, then decide which courses they are interested in leading.   As a facilitator, you are part of a team that meets regularly to support each other and to learn new things, and you get to set the parameters of your availability.
Data Entry Volunteers
Do you have Data Entry skills? Do you want an addition to your resume and have a little time to spare? You can help GSSEM Council update our databases! Adult volunteers are needed to help with data entry. Daytime hours are flexible. Please contact Darlene Johannisson, djohannisson@gssem.org if you are interested.
Advocacy
GSSEM is looking for volunteers to become a voice for girls, making a difference in our community and across the nation. Together, we can educate policymakers and community leaders on issues that directly affect girls and the Girl Scouts. By being an advocate, you will have an impact on girl policy issues moving through Congress and the state legislatures. If you're interested in working on GSSEM advocacy efforts, please contact jbowman@gssem.org.  For more information on GSUSA and advocacy, please visit: http://www.girlscouts4girls.org/
